Good quality, well made wooden game. Fun for all ages. Highly recommend.

Angela

So simple in concept [as the best always are!], so beautifully crafted and presented, I am so glad I managed at last to track down a supplier of this timeless game. Delivery was swift and the bonus is that it is a highly responsible, Fair Trade company operation with a very witty turn of phrase in the booklet of instructions.

So much fun!!! My children and I love this as does other adults I play with. So many laughs had! Easy to learn and quick to play just one game but one game is never enough!! We've spent hours playing this together!! It's one of the few games that I can get both my 7 year old daughter AND 16 year old son to play together!

SleeplesinNorfolk

Brilliant game for all the family all ages. A very competitive game full of shouting and laughing. Very easy to set up and use.

Anne

When the box arrived it was larger than expected. Opening it, you find the sleek shine of polished wood expertly crafted into the finished product. The game was bought for my teenage daughter but is so simple to play, even my two year old niece had a go. A real game for all the family. We love it.

The Cat's Mother

O M G!!! This is absolutely fantastic. We read the reviews before purchasing it, and went for it. Father Christmas has surpassed himself this year!! On Christmas Day we had the whole household playing this, and then all through Christmas too. This game is really good quality wood, and just so much fun.

Dave

This is a great little 2 player game. The board looks great with her light & dark wood and feels really sturdy and well put together. The band's are attached to metal caps that rest in grooves in the wood on the outside of the board. So if they ever break it will be very easily repairable.

Lewis

I love this Game—my son, not so much, since I've been winning most of our recent matches! It's excellent fun, perfect for fast-paced family fun! The solid wood board feels sturdy and looks nice, and the game's quick rounds are ideal when you don't have time for long, drawn-out board games. 5/5 stars—brings non-stop excitement to the table.

Good little game, good fun (be aware if you have a 'I'm gonna win this' opponent, watch your fingers!) Good fun to play. Would recommend.

About Pucket

Pucket is a fast, physical game of skill rooted in traditional European street games and reimagined for modern play. Known for its speed, noise, and fiercely competitive energy, Pucket has become a favourite for families, friends, and anyone who enjoys short, high-intensity games that demand reflexes rather than luck.

The game is the flagship title of ET Games and the company's own interpretation of a traditional French pastime known as Table à l'élastique. The idea was sparked after witnessing two elderly men playing the game on a street in southern France — a simple wooden board, elastic, and an astonishing level of intensity. That moment led to early handmade prototypes, built using DIY materials, refined over several years through constant play, iteration, and competitive testing.

As the game evolved, it became clear that Pucket was too much fun to remain a personal project. At the time, the game was virtually unknown in Britain, creating an opportunity to introduce something genuinely different to the tabletop market — a game with no turns, no downtime, and no learning curve beyond instinct.

Craftsmanship and Fair Trade

All Pucket boards are hand-crafted in India using sustainable sheesham and mango wood. Production is carried out by skilled artisans who traditionally worked in household woodworking before plastic imports reduced demand for their craft. By partnering directly with these workshops, ET Games ensures that every Pucket board is produced under fair trade principles, with fair wages and ethical working conditions.

The company is registered with BAFTS, the British Association for Fair Trade Shops and Suppliers, and makes regular visits to suppliers to maintain quality, transparency, and long-term relationships. Each board reflects this approach — solid wood construction, precise finishing, and durability designed for years of play.

What Makes Pucket Different

Pucket is defined by simplicity and intensity. Two players face each other across a wooden board divided by a central gate. Using elastic, players catapult wooden pucks through the gate as fast as possible, attempting to clear their own side before their opponent. There are no turns, no pauses, and no way to slow the game down.

A typical match lasts between two and five minutes, making it easy to play repeatedly and impossible to play only once. Adjustable tension pegs allow players to increase difficulty and speed, while advanced techniques and in-game moments — such as rebounds, gate blocks, and simultaneous shots — add depth without adding rules.

The result is a game that works equally well as a quick diversion or the centrepiece of a competitive tournament. It appeals across generations, with players ranging from children to adults, and has become a staple at family gatherings, parties, and holidays.

Recognition and Community

Pucket has received widespread praise from players and media alike, frequently highlighted for its addictive nature and physical engagement. It has been featured in national newspapers, magazines, and gift guides, and has built a loyal community of players who return to it year after year.

Beyond the original game, Pucket has expanded with optional extensions and personalised engraving options, allowing players to customise their boards and increase the challenge.

The Pucket Philosophy

Pucket stands for games that are tactile, social, and unapologetically loud. It champions craftsmanship over plastic, skill over screens, and shared experiences over passive entertainment. Every board is designed to be used, abused, and enjoyed — not displayed and forgotten.

What started as a chance encounter on a French street has grown into one of the most recognisable elasticated table games in the world. The goal remains unchanged: fast games, real competition, and as much joyful chaos as a wooden board can handle.
